Live Assistant Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. Who we are
Live Assistant is published by:
TechSolve Ribeiro, sole proprietorship of Francisco Mael Dias Ribeiro

UID: CHE-434.824.745
E-mail: contact@liveassistant.ch
Live Assistant helps sellers who run live sales on their Facebook Page. The app reads the comments of the live, listens to the items the seller announces, proposes orders for the seller to confirm, prints parcel labels and prepares a summary message for each customer.
This policy covers two groups of people:
- the sellers and businesses that use Live Assistant (our customers);
- the people who comment on these sellers' live videos on Facebook.
We apply the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Who is responsible for your data
- Sellers' data (account, connected Pages, settings): TechSolve Ribeiro is the controller.
- Commenters' data: the seller who runs the live is the controller. TechSolve Ribeiro processes this data on the seller's behalf as a processor, under a data processing agreement. You can contact either the seller or us to exercise your rights; we will pass your request on.
3. What data we process, and why
3.1 Sellers
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Facebook account name, e-mail and ID | Log you in with Facebook | Performance of the contract |
| List of Pages you manage, and the Page you choose | Choose the Page whose live videos we read | Performance of the contract |
| Page access token (encrypted) | Read live videos and comments; send the messages you approve | Performance of the contract |
| Announced items, prices, sizes, message templates, settings | Run the service | Performance of the contract |
| Sound picked up by the tablet microphone during the live | Recognise the items you announce (number, price, sizes) | Performance of the contract |
3.2 People who comment
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Facebook name and Page-scoped ID | Know who is ordering; print the name on the label | The seller's legitimate interest in fulfilling the order you asked for |
| Comment text and time | Understand the order (item, size, cancellation) | Same |
| Confirmed order (items, sizes, prices, total) | Prepare the parcel and the invoice | Pre-contractual steps and performance of the sale |
| Summary message sent through Messenger, and any reply | Send you the summary of your order | Same |
We only read comments on the live videos of the connected Page. We do not access your profile, your friends or your other posts. We never message anyone who has not commented.
3.3 What we do not do
- We do not sell any data.
- We do not use data for advertising or profiling.
- We do not keep audio recordings: sound is transcribed as it streams and then discarded.
- Our AI providers do not use your data to train their models (option set in our contracts with them).
4. Artificial intelligence
Live Assistant uses:
- a speech-to-text service for the sound of the live;
- a language model to match a comment to an announced item.
The model only proposes an order. The seller confirms every order before a label is printed or a message is sent. No decision is made solely by automated means. Where possible, names are masked before text is sent to the language model.
5. Who we share data with
Only with the service providers the service needs, bound by contract:
| Provider | Role | Processing location |
|---|---|---|
| Infomaniak Network SA | Server and database hosting | Switzerland |
| Deepgram, Inc. | Speech-to-text for the live | European Union (Deepgram's EU servers); US company |
| Anthropic PBC | Language model (understanding comments) | United States |
| Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Reading comments and sending messages (Facebook and Messenger APIs) | EU / United States |
For transfers to the United States we sign a data processing agreement with each provider. It relies on the provider's certification under the Data Privacy Framework (Swiss–US and EU–US) or, failing that, on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, recognised by the FDPIC.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep data
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Live audio | Not stored (transcribed in real time) |
| Live transcript | 30 days, then deleted |
| Raw comments | 90 days after the live, then deleted |
| Confirmed orders | As chosen by the seller; at most 10 years when needed for the seller's accounting |
| Seller account and access tokens | Until the seller closes the account or disconnects; tokens are deleted immediately |
7. Security
- Encrypted connections (TLS) everywhere.
- Facebook access tokens encrypted in the database.
- Access to data limited to the people who need it.
- Data hosted in Switzerland.
8. Your rights
At any time you can ask for:
- access to your data and a copy of it;
- correction;
- deletion;
- restriction of, or objection to, processing;
- data portability (GDPR).
Write to contact@liveassistant.ch. We answer within 30 days.
You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, in the EU, to your national authority (in Portugal: CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).
9. Deleting your data
The steps are on the Data deletion page. In short:
- Sellers: in Live Assistant, go to Settings > Delete my account, or remove the app in Facebook (Settings > Business integrations). We delete your account, tokens and live data within 30 days, except orders the law requires us to keep.
- Commenters: e-mail contact@liveassistant.ch with the Page name and your Facebook name. We delete your comments and order data within 30 days, after informing the seller.
10. This website
This website sets no cookies. It uses no audience measurement and no advertising pixel, and it loads no font, video or script from another site.
Like any web server, the site's host (Vercel Inc., San Francisco (USA)) keeps technical logs (IP address, date, page requested, browser) for security and to keep the site running. They are used for nothing else.
If you write to us (e-mail, WhatsApp), we use your contact details only to reply.
If you fill in the contact form, your browser prepares a WhatsApp message with what you enter: shop name, name, e-mail, phone, language and message. Nothing is sent to our server: you send the message yourself from WhatsApp, a Meta service (WhatsApp Ireland Limited), which may process this data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States, under its own terms. If you write to us at the e-mail address shown, the message is received and stored at Infomaniak (Switzerland). The site itself is hosted by Vercel Inc. We use your messages only to answer your request and, if you wish, to set up a demo or a trial. Never for advertising or marketing messages. We keep them for as long as needed to handle the request and its follow-up.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. We e-mail sellers about any significant change.
